For as long as I can remember, I have always surrounded myself with stories-- from studying fallen leaves I find on walks to conversations I have with new friends on bubble tea runs. I find that creating artwork and designs are the most impactful ways for me to connect these narratives with my own identity as the queer daughter of Chinese immigrants. Intersecting UX research, design, and an illustration background, I help stories emerge seamlessly onto the surface of a page or a screen. Then, combining graphics with a psychological and civic-minded approach, I push user flows and visuals further to empower others. As I continue to navigate through different spaces, I strive to create informed designs that uplift the stories of the communities around me.
Education: BS in Engineering Psychology + BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Arts at Tufts University
